The department consists of fundraising, events, communications, creative services, visitor services and regional staff. Over 150+ were in attendance to hear his story for the first time.

Prior to the event Jaylon had been feeling miserable. He was in and out of school the last several days due to 'roids week. Earlier this morning I received a call from the school health office informing me that he couldn't bear his abdominal pain any longer. After picking him up from the office he stayed home and rested.

When we arrived at COH, Jaylon was ready to go. He spoke eloquently about his journey and showed gratitude for the staff at the hospital for saving his life. Many were visibly moved to tears as he revealed his passions in life and his aspirations for helping others with cancer. In the end the audience gave him an emotional standing ovation.
